Sarran Blything
Hello. I am a 47 year old who found a love for watercolour about 18months ago. I'd always used art as a coping, distraction and mood boost tool when I was working on an acute psychiatric ward. However, until my own health dipped, I never used it myself. I am now (due to health issues) in another job and must admit art has helped me through tough times.
I believe there is no right or wrong in art. If you enjoy it, it's perfect. I found that at first I tried to perfect my art. However as soon as I let go of this and simply enjoyed it, purposely not correcting all mistakes and just painting, my art improved immensely. So I am, I admit, a messy and raw style painter, but I love to share my work in the hope it will bring joy, escape or pause for thought to someone.
